LIVE"You're a scammer." — ex-bank VP walks off live TV after a 27-year-old trader shows his balance
Last night's episode of Money Watch Live ended in a scandal that is all over social media. Richard Hale, former senior vice president at a major US bank, was invited to debate 27-year-old trader Alex Novak about "how ordinary Americans should handle money in 2026". Nobody expected the guest to tear off his microphone and leave the studio to applause. Below is the full transcript, before it gets taken down.
Live on air: the full transcript
Host (Rachel Kim): "Good evening. Tonight we talk about what really happens to your money. Richard, you spent 22 years in banking. What's your advice to a regular family in 2026?"
Hale: "Keep it simple. Savings account, a credit card for emergencies, a mortgage you can afford. The bank is your partner."
Host: "A partner? The average American household now carries in debt. Credit card rates are above . Is that a partnership?"
Hale: "Those are individual cases of poor budgeting."
Host: "Last year the six biggest US banks reported over in profit. Alex, you're 27 and you don't use any of that. What do you do?"
Alex: "P2P. I buy crypto from one person and sell it to another for more. The difference is mine. No broker, no bank, no fees. I do it from my phone."
Hale: "That's gambling dressed up as a system. You'll lose everything."
Alex: "I started with a hundred dollars. The next morning it was eight-sixty. Day four, sixty-five forty." (he puts his phone on the desk, screen to the camera) "This is my balance. Live."
Host: "Richard, you can see the screen. Is this fake?"
Hale: "I'm not going to validate this nonsense. People will get scammed."
Alex: "Nobody gets scammed by me. I don't take a cent up front. You start with a hundred, I send you the steps, and you pay me my percentage only after the money is in your balance. If it doesn't work, you owe me nothing."
Hale: "This is irresponsible television."
Host: "Richard, he just told half a million viewers he gets paid only after they profit. When does a bank do that?"
Hale: "This interview is over."
Hale stands up, removes his microphone and walks off the set. The audience applauds.
Host: "He left. I'll stay. Alex, where do people find you?"
Alex: "On Telegram. Write me the word START and I'll send you the exact plan I use. Your first hundred — I walk you through it myself."
Host: "We're publishing the official link in this article. Check it before someone decides to pull it."
Marcus from Ohio: from in debt to his first payout
After the show our newsroom received hundreds of messages from viewers who had already tried Alex's plan. Marcus, 38, a warehouse worker from Columbus, agreed to talk.
Money Watch: "Marcus, what was your situation?"
Marcus: "Two credit cards maxed out, a car loan, medical bills. A hundred and four thousand total. I was working doubles and still going backwards."
Money Watch: "How did you find Alex?"
Marcus: "My cousin sent me his video. I thought it was a scam. But he doesn't take money up front, so I had nothing to lose. I put in a hundred."
Money Watch: "What happened?"
Marcus: "I wrote him START on Telegram. He sent me the plan in ten minutes. Next morning — eight-sixty. By Friday it was sixty-five forty. I moved it to my bank and it was there."
Money Watch: "And now?"
Marcus: "I paid the cards off in two months. I still work, but now it's because I want to. And Alex got his percentage only after I got paid. That's the part that convinced me."
Money Watch: "What would you tell someone who doubts?"
Marcus: "I was you. It's a hundred dollars. That's one night out. It changed my year."
What exactly is Alex's P2P plan?
The plan is simple enough to run from a phone, and Alex explained it on air in one sentence. Here is how it works:
- You buy crypto from one person and sell it to another for more — the difference is yours
- Alex sends you which trades to make and when, on Telegram
- Everything from your phone, no experience needed
- You pay Alex his percentage only after your profit is in your balance
Facts and numbers
- Minimum start: (the smallest amount you can put in)
- Typical path: → (day 1) → (day 2) → (day 4)
- Withdrawal: to your bank or Cash App, same day
- Fees: none. No broker, no app, no bank in between
- Support: Alex personally answers your first messages on Telegram. If you don't reply within 24 hours, your spot goes to the next person.
What experts said after the show
Daniel Reyes
former regional director at a US bank, now independent advisor
I spent 19 years in banking and I'll be honest: we knew about P2P. We never talked about it because it kills our model. Why would you pay on a card if you can earn on your own? I left banking because I was tired of pretending.
Dr. Emily Carter
economist
I surveyed people who follow Alex's plan. had never traded before. Average income growth after three months: . This isn't magic. It's a middleman being removed.
The reaction
Hale leaving the set to applause became the moment of the week. On one side — bankers who spent years quietly charging. On the other — people who want out of the debt loop. Rachel Kim wrote on X after the show: "The truth always comes out. Thank you all. We won't be silenced." The post has over likes.
There is only one question left: which side are you on? The side still paying on a credit card, or the side that already started? We are publishing the official link in this article. The choice is yours.

Finally someone said it on air. Hale ran because he had no answer 😡 Credit cards are a trap, not freedom.
ReplyBeen with Chase for 12 years, thought my money was safe. One 'system error' and my savings were gone. No apology, just 'procedure'. Glad Rachel Kim put this on TV.
